Oh yeah, I realise it only really works out to about 10p over here, but I was under the impression that Canadian money goes much further?

For example, I was comparing guitar prices in Canada and England recently, because I can. Though they both cost more or less exactly the same if you do the conversions, a new guitar would set me back a full months wages here, whereas that would only represent half of your months wages (assuming you make $3,000). And guitars are high end luxury items, so unless you’re getting screwed on rent and food, that seems like a fairly high standard of living?
