kids after visiting a slaughterhouse

“I didn’t see anything wrong with it.” Barnes stated. “Earlier this year we had a field trip to a chocolate factory. Kids have a curiosity about where their food comes from. I don’t think there should be anything wrong with showing them where meat comes from.”
Exactly. There is NOTHING wrong with showing people where there food comes from. If it’s not good enough for your eyes, it’s not good enough for your stomach!

Damn right. I wish someone would have taken me on this tour when I was in elementary school. Future activists I bet you anything.

Perhaps a sign that there is something wrong with killing nonhumans for food?

yeah, cause bringing small kids to tears and shocking and traumatizing them when they are not prepared or ready to see a slaughterhouse isn’t abusive or anything.
a field trip to a slaughterhouse. what a brilliant fucking idea.
let’s apply the same logic elsewhere shall we? the logic being: to prevent certain behaviours in the future, let’s show small children the brutal, shitty side to society. then perhaps they won’t participate in that behaviour and they will know better afterwards!
so i hope the school is also showing them:
videos of rape (because that’s what vegans equate eating meat to),
videos of torturing humans (because that’s what vegans equate eating meat to),
videos of hate crimes (because vegans equate racism and other discrimination to eating meat).
videos of different genocides (because vegans equate eating meat with genocide)
Hell, a live show would REALLY get the point across, eh? Cause if it’s the same thing, we should also be showing the kids that, right? Right?! I bet PETA has already started a similar campaign!!!!!!!!
All of our kids should turn out perfect if we just show them traumatizing things during their childhood. Whether it be eating meat or anything that vegans equate with eating meat.
Good? Good.
As a side note: I know not ALL vegans equate all of the above. But many do, and with those folks I disagree wholeheartedly. There is no sympathy from me if you equate the meat industry/speciesism with human rape, human genocide, human murder. None.
/rant done

So, whens the next school trip to go see vegetables being picked in legally dubious conditions?
